The stay of a few months in the Emirates has paid off. MIRIAM SLAATS & ROB MONAGHAN have worked locally. New art has been created, both in photography and in the monumental object form. Several inspiring encounters have taken place, the press has been informed and the Arabian waters have been used as a platform for photography. In short … the UAE has firmly embraced the project with strong arms. At this moment both artists are working on the plans in their studios in Europe…  but the suitcases will re-packed .. In February / March 2018, SLAATS and MONAGHAN will travel back to the Middle East to continue the ‘BLOB art.oil.forever’ movement.
